Tamil cinema superstar Thalapathy Vijay has emerged as a superhero of politics. After becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay is receiving congratulations from within the country as well as from abroad. First Sri Lankan President Anura Dissanayake congratulated him and now the reaction of the Prime Minister of Malaysia has also come to light.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated Joseph Vijay on being elected the new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu by posting on X. He said that for many years his fans have been watching him defeating corrupt politicians and different villains in three-hour stories of films. Now the people of Tamil Nadu have given Vijay a bigger responsibility than any role he has played on screen.

Malaysian PM wrote a proverb in Tamil

Anwar Ibrahim has further written a saying in Tamil – ‘Oru Viral Purchi’ which means revolution of one finger. Explaining the importance of one vote, he wrote that now the revolution of one finger is on the verge of creating history.

Sri Lankan President also congratulated Vijay

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake also congratulated Vijay after taking oath. He said that Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka have long had strong people-to-people ties. He said that there is a lot of potential for economic cooperation and new opportunities between the two countries. He congratulated the people of Tamil Nadu and Chief Minister Vijay and said that the people of Sri Lanka also wish him a successful tenure.

How many seats for which party?

TVK emerged as the largest party by winning 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Although Vijay had won two seats, hence he has vacated the other seat. Now TVK has 107 MLAs. After that, 5 MLAs of Congress, 2 each of CPI, CPI(M), VCK and IUML have supported TVK. Adding all this, the total number of alliances in the assembly has reached 120. Now even a faction of AIADMK has announced to support Vijay’s TVK in the floor test.
