Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar has said that there is no place in the department for those policemen who leave their first wife and marry another as soon as they get position and prestige. Referring to a case related to Sitamarhi SP, DGP Vinay Kumar said that such cases often come to light where policemen leave their first wives and marry second as soon as they become sub-inspectors from constables or get promotion. DGP Vinay Kumar said that such people have no moral or legal right to remain in the job.
