Expansion

The continuously increasing road accidents on Ganga Expressway have increased the concern of the district administration. In the last few days, several major accidents have taken place on the expressway passing through the district border, in which one person has died and dozens of passengers have been injured. In view of the increasing number of accidents, the administration has now intensified efforts to strengthen the safety and health facilities on the expressway. The district administration has started preparations to set up a trauma center along the expressway, for which a proposal has been sent to the government. Along with reserving five beds each, additional staff will also be deployed at the three CHCs adjacent to it.
