Former West Bengal minister and Trinamool Congress leader Sujit Bose has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case related to the alleged municipality recruitment scam. According to officials, Bose had reached the ED office at CGO Complex in Salt Lake on Monday morning.

The ED questioned him over alleged recruitment irregularities in South Dumdum Municipality. Even before this the agency had summoned him several times. The investigating agency is investigating money transactions and illegal recruitment network in this case.
