A vehicle full of tourists met with an accident around 3 am today in Kakira of Bhatiat in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Six people have died in the accident while four are injured. Tourists from Gujarat were traveling in the crashed Innova Crysta car. These people were going to visit Dalhousie from Manali. It was raining heavily in the area at the time of the accident. There were a total of 10 people in the vehicle including the driver.
After first aid, the injured have been referred to Medical College, Tanda due to their critical condition. It is being told that the accident vehicle was Mandi number taxi Innova Crysta. After the accident, a wave of mourning ran in the area. In the preliminary investigation, bad weather and slippery road conditions are considered to be the major reasons for the accident.
