Tadighat Passenger train takes 35 minutes to cover the distance of 8 km from Kuchman to Sakaldiha at PDDU Nagar in Chandauli. On Sunday, the 35-minute journey passed in fear for the passengers traveling in the train.
As soon as the train left Kuchman station, miscreants shot Mangroo dead. After this, he traveled by the same train for 7 km and got down before Sakaldiha railway station and ran away.
Tadighat passenger departed from platform 3 of PDDU Junction at 6:24 am on Sunday. Everything was normal till this time. The train reached Kuchman at 6:36 am and departed from here at 06:40 am. According to eyewitnesses, as soon as the train started, Mangroo started having an argument with two youths in the coach.

A young man shot Mangroo with a pistol near his temple. Meanwhile, the train had covered a distance of one kilometer and reached near Dariyapur. Here the attackers threw the dead body down. After this, we covered a distance of about 7 km by this train. During this time the passengers remained scared. The train reached near Sakaldiha railway station at 7:11 pm and when the speed slowed down, the miscreants got down and ran away. After this, the passengers reported the incident at Sakaldiha railway station.

Passenger shot dead in moving train
On Sunday morning, in a passenger train going from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay to Tadighat via Dildarnagar, miscreants pointed a pistol at the temple of a passenger and shot him. The incident took place between Kuchman and Sakaldiha railway stations. After the murder, the miscreants threw the body of the deceased from the train onto the railway track. Taking advantage of the slow speed of the train before Sakaldiha railway station, the accused got down from the train and ran away.

GRP has identified the deceased as Mangroo (34) son of Dudhnath, resident of Chaudhary Mohalla, District Ghazipur. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Tadighat passenger train left PDDU Junction from platform number three at 7.30 am on Sunday. A dispute broke out between two passengers in a coach as it proceeded from Kuchman station. During the argument, one of the two youths from one side took out a pistol from his pocket, pointed it at Mangroo’s temple and shot him.

The passenger fell near the seat covered in blood. After some time, the miscreants threw the body down from the moving train and fled away with the bag and got down from the train before Sakaldiha railway station. On receiving information from the passengers, teams of Chandauli and Sakaldiha police, GRP and Dildarnagar RPF reached the spot. The body of the deceased was recovered on the railway track. Sakaldiha area officer Krishnamurari Sharma said that interrogation of the passengers revealed that the murderer had boarded the train from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction.
