Jharkhand: Deadly attack on vegetable seller in Chaibasa, targeted with arrows; Police engaged in investigation

A sensational case has come to light in Chaibasa district of Jharkhand. Here in Jhinkapani police station area, 20 arrows were shot one after the other on vegetable seller Choya Biruli, out of which three arrows entered his body, he has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. While the accused is still absconding. According to the police, he will be arrested soon.

Biruli was attacked when he was going to collect vegetables from the village and sell them in the market. The accused has been identified as Dope Biruli, but the reason for the incident has not been known. Doctors are trying to remove the arrows lodged in his body.

What is the whole matter?

According to the information, Choya Biruli, resident of Betiya village of Jhinkapani police station area, was going to sell vegetables at Jorapokhar Haat on Saturday. Dope Biruli, resident of Chidiyapahari village, who was hiding on the way, started attacking them with arrows. The accused fired 20 arrows one by one, out of which 3 arrows entered Choya Biruli’s body, seriously injuring him.

Doctors busy in removing the arrows lodged in the body

Seeing Choya Biruli in an injured condition, local people informed the police. Police of Jhinkapani police station reached the spot and took the injured to Sadar Hospital, Chaibasa. A team of doctors at Sadar Hospital is busy removing the arrows lodged in the body. The condition of the injured is still said to be critical. According to doctors, it will take time for the condition of the injured to become normal.

Police started investigation

Jhinkapani police station said that the matter is being investigated. The police is conducting raids to arrest the accused. Whereas the reason for the dispute or incident between the two is not yet known. The police are still waiting for the condition of the injured to become normal so that they can be interrogated.
