The examination of Lecturer (PGT) Recruitment-2022 will be held in two shifts on May 9 and 10 by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission in 17 divisional headquarters districts of the state. 4.64 lakh candidates had applied for 624 posts in 18 subjects. On May 9, in the first shift, examinations for Physics, Biology, Home Science, History and Education subjects will be held. In the second shift, there will be examination of English, Agriculture, Commerce and Sociology.
Candidates of Civics, Mathematics, Economics, Sanskrit and Psychology will appear in the first shift on May 10. In the second shift, there will be examination for Chemistry, Geography, Hindi and Arts subjects. Commission Chairman Prashant Kumar reviewed the preparations at all the examination centres. He informed that the rooms and important places of the examination centers have been equipped with AI based CCTV cameras. These have been connected to the district control room.
Testing of connectivity of all the centers with the control room of the Commission has also been completed. One observer will be deployed in each district and DM-SP level officers will inspect the examination centres.
OMR sheet will be scanned in the examination hall.
Prashant Kumar told that after the completion of the examination of every shift at 10 examination centers of Lucknow division, the scanning of OMR sheets of the candidates will be done in the room in the presence of the room invigilator and the candidates. The data will be saved after scanning. If required, the Commission will match this data with the OMR sheet. He said that this experiment is being done as a test. If successful, it will be implemented in all upcoming examinations. This process is completely safe.
