Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Nitish Rane on Friday termed All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) as a terrorist organisation. The statement came after a councilor of the Asaduddin Owaisi-led party has been booked for allegedly harboring a key accused in the Nashik TCS sexual harassment and forced conversion case.
According to the police, TCS case accused Nida Khan was caught from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. After this it came to light that AIMIM councilor Matin Patel had given shelter to him and his relatives at his place for the last few days. Patel has been made an accused in this case because he had allegedly given shelter to Nida Khan, who was caught from the NREGA area.
