US Iran War: Tension has once again increased after Washington and Tehran failed to agree on ending the war. Breaking the ceasefire, Iran attacked the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with drones and missiles on Monday. This is considered to be Iran’s first major military action after the ceasefire announcement on April 8.

UAE officials confirmed the air threat and said that emergency alerts have been issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defense and the air defense system has been activated.

The crew of the seized ship was sent to Pakistan

Meanwhile, the US has sent 22 crew members of the seized Iranian ship MV Touska to Pakistan as part of a “confidence-building measure”. The ship belonged to the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines group and was captured by US forces near Chabahar port in the Gulf of Oman.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that all of them were brought safely to Pakistan and later they would be sent to Iran. Describing it as a positive sign of cooperation between America and Iran, he called it an important step for regional peace. That is, while on one hand military tension is increasing rapidly, on the other hand some “confidence-building” steps are also being taken at the diplomatic level, due to which the situation has become more complex.
