ED and CBI are used to intimidate leaders- CM Bhagwant Mann

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a big statement regarding the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs and the current political situation. While talking to the media, he raised the question whether a person becomes above the law after joining BJP. He clearly said that this is not the case at all and the law of the country is supreme, which applies equally to every person.

Bhagwant Mann said that whether a minister or a common citizen, everyone will have to follow the law. He also indicated that if any complaint comes against anyone then action must be taken against it.

Bhagwant Mann said that if any complaint comes against anyone then action must be taken against him, no matter which party he is associated with. He sarcastically described BJP as a ‘washing machine’ and said that some leaders escape from the allegations as soon as they change parties, which is not right. He further said that if any complaint comes against anyone in future, action will be taken as per law. The law is equal for everyone, be it a minister or a common citizen.

ED and CBI are used to intimidate leaders

Bhagwant Maan Also raised questions on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He alleged that these agencies are being used to intimidate leaders. He said that first raids are conducted and after some time the same leaders are given ‘Y’ security, due to which many questions arise.

The Chief Minister said that he will meet the President regarding this entire matter and will inform him about all the facts. He appealed to the public to use their rights properly and strengthen democracy.
