At quarter to four in the morning, all the people in the building were in deep sleep when Shikha opened her eyes and saw that there had been an explosion and fire in the house. He immediately woke up everyone in the house one by one. Meanwhile, he asked the two maids present in the house to come out. It was Shikha who opened the door of the house.
Shikha also tried to wake up the people in the building by shouting, but everyone was in deep sleep due to which no one woke up. Meanwhile, both of Shikha’s maids went out. Shikha, along with her husband Naveen, carried her elderly father Arun Jain down the stairs.
Meanwhile, the fire engulfed a large part of the flat. Naveen ran to the neighbors. And brought mattresses from there. They thought that maybe the mattresses would be of some use. Shikha’s mother was present inside. Shikha kept trying to save them.
Naveen reached up and broke the window glass on the side of the building. Naveen had already put mattresses downstairs. He asked both his daughters Rakshata and Priyal to jump down from the second floor. On the other hand, Shikha somehow pulled out her sick mother amidst the flames but herself got trapped inside.
Even after getting burnt, Naveen somehow managed to get out of the flat. Meanwhile, people who came to help took Shikha’s mother Darshana Jain out safely. Later Naveen was also brought to a safe place. Shikha fell unconscious in the flat. Later his charred body was recovered.
The condition of husband Naveen remains critical. Another family member, Suresh, told that Naveen, originally from Hodal, Haryana, has a big cardboard business in Sadar Bazar area. Naveen’s younger daughter Priyal is a class 10 student. Elder daughter Rakshata is doing BBA from a college in Noida. Naveen, Rakshata, Priyal are injured in the accident. His treatment is continuing.
