
Manimajra Dead Body Case: There was a stir in the area after the body of a Municipal Corporation employee was recovered from the forest area of Manimajra in Chandigarh, Punjab. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Kumar, aged 27 years. It is being told that the deceased was a resident of Manimajra area and was working as a tube well operator in the Municipal Corporation.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police and forensic team immediately reached the spot, took possession of the body and started investigation. Initial investigation has found injury marks on the body of the deceased, especially on the back, due to which the case has become even more suspicious.
Panic spread after dead body was found in the forest
On receiving the information, Inspector Manjinder Singh, in-charge of Manimajra Police Station, reached the spot with the police team. After this, the forensic team also inspected the spot and collected necessary evidence.

Police busy investigating mobile and contacts
After this incident, the police is investigating the surrounding area. However, the mobile phone of the deceased is also being examined to find out who he last talked to and under what circumstances he reached the forest area. Along with this, family members and colleagues are also being interrogated, so that any possible conflict or enmity can be detected.
Death under mysterious circumstances after duty
The police have also started scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed at the entry points of the forest area. In the investigation, efforts are being made to find out whether Krishna Kumar had gone alone into the forest or there was some other person with him.
According to the information, Krishna Kumar had left home for duty in the morning, but later his body was recovered from the forest. At present, the police is also investigating who he came in contact with while on duty.
