‘The soul of the country was kept safe by the tribals’: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said – service is not a favor, it is our religion – Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh News Mohan Bhagwat Mumbai Visit Tribal Community Identity

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat gave an important message in Mumbai on Saturday. He said that despite all the foreign invasions and terrible sufferings, the identity and soul of the country were preserved by the tribal communities and the Scheduled Castes. Bhagwat was speaking at the Karmayogi Awards ceremony here. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present in this program.

The meaning of human life lies in giving back to the world – Bhagwat

He said, ‘The meaning of human life lies in giving back to the world. We are all part of one big family. The work that a person does for the betterment of the society is not a favor but his duty. According to Bhagwat, serving others leads to our own development. By helping others grow, we lift ourselves up and become better people. He described it as the core value of Indian land and Hindu society.

Referring to history, the Sangh chief said that foreign invaders had targeted this value system of India. They knew that it was the soul of the society. They tried their best to root out and persecute those who kept this identity alive. Bhagwat said, ‘Despite these adverse circumstances, the tribal and scheduled caste communities kept the basic identity of the country intact.’

Bhagwat made this appeal

He said that the so-called educated and developed class has moved away from these communities with time. Bhagwat appealed to eliminate this gap. He said that it is necessary to connect these sections with the mainstream of development. They should get equal access to services and facilities.

Talking about the global perspective, he said that the present world is struggling to strike a balance. In such a situation, India can emerge as a stable power. He said that India should not only protect its interests but also come forward to help the world.
