
The three officers arrested in the alleged assault case involving BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani in Sriganganagar got bail on Friday. After this the matter became more heated. Immediately after the bail decision, the engineers of Rajasthan opened a front against the MLA and warned of boycott of work and violent agitation in the entire state.
Emotional scene in the court premises
RUIDP’s AEN Jaganlal Bairwa, L&T manager Shahnawaz Hasan and engineer Soham Parmar were produced in the SDM court at 12:30 pm. During this time, an emotional scene was seen in the ADM court, when Jaganlal Bairava’s daughter hugged her father and cried bitterly. His wife was also present with him.
Serious allegations made in press conference
Immediately after getting bail, Jaganlal Bairwa held a press conference in the Zilla Parishad and made serious allegations against MLA Jaideep Bihani. He claimed that he was systematically assaulted and an attempt was also made to subvert the incident.
‘Slapped, beaten with a pipe’
According to Jaganlal Bairwa, on Thursday morning he was called by XEN Monindrajit Singh and AEN Krishna Dhariwal to the MLA Seva Kendra located at SD Bihani College. Through the MLA’s phone he was asked to reach quickly. He alleged that as soon as he arrived with his colleagues, the MLA started slapping him and abusing him with caste-related abuses. Bairava says that the MLA’s supporters threw him on the ground and beat him with kicks, punches and pipes, while the MLA himself also kept kicking him.
Injuries claimed and demand for justice
Bairava alleged that his shirt was torn and later he was handed over to the police after wearing a new shirt, so that the matter does not appear to be wrong. Showing injury marks on his eye, stomach, waist and left toe, he said that he could not see properly in one eye and his toe was broken. He has filed a case against the MLA and his supporters and demanded action.

Rajasthan Council of Diploma Engineers has strongly condemned the incident. State President Balram Jakhar said that the officers were called in the name of a meeting and the attack was carried out in a planned manner and mobile phones were confiscated so that the incident could not be recorded. He warned that if justice is not provided soon, there will be work boycott and violent agitation in the entire state.

The matter has now also taken a political colour. Congress leaders have given sharp reactions to the BJP on this issue. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot and Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie have attacked through social media. At the same time, no official response has come from BJP till now.
