
Software engineer Aditya Anand alias Rusty (28), the mastermind behind the sabotage and violence in the demonstration of workers in industrial areas on April 13 in Noida city of Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested by the police and STF from Tamil Nadu. He lived in a rented flat in Sector-37 Arun Vihar. Initial inquiry and STF investigation have revealed that several meetings were held at his flat from March 30 to April 1. Members of Mazdoor Bugul, Disha Sangathan, RWPI, Naujawan Bharat Sabha and Ekta Sangharsh Samiti Gautam Buddha Nagar were present in these meetings several times.

It was in these meetings that a conspiracy was hatched to instigate the workers to protest and make the protest violent. Accused Aditya Anand alias Rusty is a native of Chhoti Madhaiya village of Hajipur, Bihar. Its temporary address is Saraswati Vihar Sector-28, Gurugram.

Came to Noida after passing B.Tech
Started living in Patna in the year 2013 after passing 12th examination from RR Inter College, Vaishali, Bihar. After passing B.Tech from NIT Jamshedpur in the year 2020, he got a job in an MNC based in Noida through campus placement. He shifted to Gurugram in 2022.

The accused had started living in the flat of Arun Vihar
In June 2025, he came to Noida from Gurugram and started living in a flat in Arun Vihar. Initial inquiry revealed that the workers had read about Bugle through the social media platform Facebook. It came in contact with Mazdoor Bugul’s editor Anubhav Sinha in the year 2022 and started reporting sporadic incidents happening in Noida companies from 2022. Rupesh Rai also used to come there.

Aditya met Rupesh in 2023 during the Bhagat Singh Jan Adhikar Yatra which was organized by the laborer Bugul. After this this laborer came in contact with senior leaders and workers of Bugul. Then he started joining their movements.
