The government has approved the new rates on the recommendation of the high level committee and implemented them from April 1. Committee members have said that this is interim relief. There will be further increase after the completion of the process of determining the minimum wage at the national level under the new Labor Code of the Central Government.

20 to 21 percent increase
Workers of Noida and Greater Noida are protesting on the streets demanding minimum wages and other demands. On which the state government constituted a high level committee. UP Industrial Development Commissioner and Committee Chairman Deepak Kumar said that collective and individual talks were held with workers and entrepreneurs on Monday. After listening to both the parties, it was recommended to the government to increase the salaries. At present an interim increase has been made. There has been an increase of about 20 to 21 percent. Although workers had demanded a 40 percent increase, entrepreneurs have also been taken into consideration. However, the process of fixing the minimum wage is going on at the central government level. In such a situation, there is every possibility of further increase. He told that the minimum salary has been increased from Rs 13690 to Rs 16868. Which will be applicable from April 1st.

Salary will be received with slip till 10th
District Magistrate Medha Rupam said that the demand of workers to increase their salaries has been accepted. Those working overtime will get double their wages. Weekly leave will be given to everyone. If you are working on weekly holidays, you will be paid double. All workers will be given lump sum salary before the 10th of the month. Salary slips will also be given to all the workers. Annual bonus will be given before the month of November. Sexual harassment committee will be constituted in every company. The chairperson of that committee will be a woman. Every company will have to keep a complaint box. Apart from this, if any worker has any complaint then he can inform the control room. Apart from this, prior cooperation will also be provided in providing accommodation, health, water, toilets etc. to the workers. Incited workers by spreading false information
Committee Chairman Deepak Kumar says that the workers were instigated by spreading false information. A message was circulated on social media that the minimum wage of workers has been increased to Rs 20,000. The state government has also implemented it, but entrepreneurs are not following it. However, it is not like that. At the Central Government level, the process of determining the minimum floor wage at the national level under the new labor codes is going on.

The administration failed to sense the violent protest
In the press conference, committee chairman Deepak Kumar admitted that he could not anticipate the violent protest in time.
