There was a stir when the body of a constable’s sister was found in a deserted area of Subhash Nagar Mohalla of Kotwali area of Mahoba city. The police, which reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took possession of the body and started investigating the case. The family members have accused him of murder. Family members have told that the girl’s marriage was to take place in the coming July. After the incident, mourning has spread in the happy house.
According to the information, the body of Priyanka, 22-year-old daughter of Manikchandra Raikwar, resident of Subhash Nagar Mohalla of Kotwali area of the city, was found lying in a deserted area of the locality. Priyanka was the only sister of three brothers, the news of her death has stunned the entire area.
Girl’s body was found on the hill
It is being told that last night all the family members had gone to the fields for harvesting and Priyanka was alone at home. When the family returned home around 6:00 in the morning, they were shocked to see the main door open. Priyanka was not inside the house. After a lot of searching, the local people who had come out for defecation saw the dead body of a girl on the hill. After identification, it was revealed that it was Priyanka.
The police constable is the elder brother of the deceased.
The deceased’s uncle Mahendra Kumar said that there were deep injury marks on Priyanka’s body and cheeks, which clearly showed that she had been crushed to death with stones. Priyanka’s marriage was fixed on 8th July and preparations for the marriage were going on at home. The elder brother of the deceased, Santosh, is a constable in the police. The family is pleading for justice regarding this incident.
Police force deployed in the area after the incident
Neighbors say that Priyanka was of very simple nature and rarely came out of the house. There is an atmosphere of fear in the locality after this incident. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Vandana Singh, CO City Arun Kumar and heavy police force reached the spot. The forensic team has collected evidence from the incident site.
ASP said that injury marks were found on the body, police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police say that the exact cause of death will be revealed after the post mortem report comes. At present, a case will be registered as soon as the complaint is received. Claimed that soon the accused will be behind bars.
