Death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon rises
Lebanon’s Health Ministry has said that the death toll since the beginning of the Israeli attack on March 2 has increased to 2,055. The ministry also said that at least 6,588 people were injured.

Australia calls for opening of the Strait of Hormuz to all
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Monday called for the Strait of Hormuz to be opened to all and said the US has not asked Australia for any help in blocking it. President Donald Trump said the US Navy will immediately begin a blockade of ships entering or exiting the Strait of Hormuz after US-Iran ceasefire talks in Pakistan end without an agreement.
‘We have not received any requests, and they have made this announcement overnight and they have done it unilaterally,’ Albanese told Nine Network television on Monday. And we have not been asked to participate in it. Albanese further said, ‘We want the talks to continue and resume. We want to see an end to this conflict. We want the Strait of Hormuz to be opened to all. We also want to see freedom of navigation in accordance with international law.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited southern Lebanon on Sunday (local time) and said that the war is not over yet. He said Israel’s enemies are now fighting a ‘battle for their survival’. According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, he was accompanied during the visit by Defense Minister Israel Katz, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir and Northern Command chief Major General Raffi Milo. Following the tour, Netanyahu also inspected an IDF post, where Galilee Division Commander Brigadier General Yuval Gage briefed him on military activities.
Netanyahu said, the war continues. Our enemies are now fighting for survival. He said that he is present there along with the Defense Minister, Army Chief and other senior officers and the soldiers have great fighting spirit. He said fighting was continuing inside the security zone in Lebanon, where he had visited some time ago.
Israel’s Prime Minister said that Israel has stopped possible infiltration from Lebanon by creating a security zone. He said that this has reduced the risk of tank and rocket attacks. But work still remains. He said that Israel has changed the situation in West Asia. He said that Iran and the ‘enemy alliance’ are now fighting only for their survival. He praised the Israeli army and reserve soldiers, saying that this is a big achievement for Israel.
