‘Farmer works only for 25 days’, has CM Bhajanlal’s video been edited? the opposition surrounded

A video of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is becoming increasingly viral on social media these days. There is a huge political turmoil in the state regarding this video. On the basis of this video, opposition leaders and social media users claimed that the Chief Minister has insulted the farmers.

But, when this video was investigated in depth and the entire part of the CM’s speech came to light, the picture turned out to be completely opposite. Let us know what is the whole truth of this viral video.

What is the whole matter?

On Friday (April 10), Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma participated in an important program related to farmers. From the stage, he mentioned many government schemes for the welfare of farmers and to provide them financial support. Meanwhile, a small part (clip) of his speech was cut and made viral on social media.

What was shown in the viral video (Edited Clip)?

In this short clip shared by the opposition, the Chief Minister can be heard saying, “No one else will say this, but I say because I am a farmer that the farmer does not work for more than 25 days to 30 days. He only goes to sow and reap, goes for two-four days in between to give water.” While sharing this 15-20 second video, many opposition leaders including the Leader of Opposition strongly targeted the Chief Minister and he was trolled fiercely.

What is the real truth of the video? (The Real Truth)

As the controversy escalated, the ‘uncut’ (complete) video of the Chief Minister’s speech surfaced. This entire video made it clear that the CM’s statement was taken out of context and presented in a misleading manner. In reality, the Chief Minister was advising to increase the efficiency of farmers and strengthen their economic condition by treating farming as a ‘duty’.

What did the CM actually say in his entire speech?

In the entire video, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is clearly seen saying, “Today any person can calculate how many days he works in 365 days. There is no harm to our farmer brothers who are working with full understanding of their duty. But those farmer brothers who want to strengthen their economic condition for 11 months by working only 20-25 days in a year, is this possible? No one else will say this, I am saying this because I am a farmer. Today, farmers work only for 20-25 days in a year. If a farmer works for 20-25 days in the field, he can come first in his field of agriculture.

It has become clear in the investigation that the Chief Minister’s intention was not to insult the farmers. He was merely explaining that if farmers devoted time to their fields regularly (just 4 hours a day), their economic condition could radically improve. The video shared by the opposition is incomplete and misleading.
