
Before the West Bengal Assembly elections, enthusiasm and confidence is visible in BJP. In a public meeting held in Haldia, senior BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi and claimed that this year BJP will hoist the flag of victory by winning all the 16 assembly seats of Haldia.
Shubhendu Adhikari said in the public meeting, ‘I want to assure PM Modi that BJP was already winning 15 out of 16 seats in this district. This year the lotus flower will bloom on all the 16 seats. With this claim, BJP gave a clear message about its strength and popularity in Haldia district that the party is fully prepared for this assembly elections.
Attacked TMC fiercely
At the rally of Shubhendu Adhikari, a large crowd of workers and supporters raised slogans in his support with enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi fiercely attacked TMC in the meeting. He said that TMC has crushed the dreams of the youth and wiped out the private sector.
PM Modi said that TMC is engaged in the policy of giving reservation on the basis of religion and appeasement to please the vote bank. PM Modi also assured that recruitment in the BJP government will be transparent, time-bound and completely fair. There will be no commission, bribery or discrimination.
Haldia is a stronghold of BJP
Haldia is the home constituency of Subhendu Adhikari and is considered one of the BJP’s strongholds in the state. In the 2021 assembly elections, BJP had won 8 out of 16 seats in East Medinipur district. At the same time, in the 2024 general elections, both the Lok Sabha seats of this district were won by BJP. Although Birbhum is considered a TMC stronghold, the RSS has had a strong organizational network in some parts of the district for a long time. BJP wants to strengthen its hold in these areas by taking advantage of anti-incumbency.
