PM will campaign in Bengal today: BJP geared up for road-show and rally; Prime Minister will energize the party – West Bengal Elections Pm Modi Public Meeting Speech Bjp Haldia Asansol And Suri Rallies Hindi News Updates

BJP has intensified the campaign for the West Bengal Assembly elections. In this sequence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address three big election rallies in the state today.

According to the programme, the Prime Minister’s first rally will be held at 9:30 am in Haldia township of East Medinipur district. After this, at 12 noon he will address the second meeting at the outdoor stadium of Polo Ground, Asansol in West Bardhaman district. Whereas, the third and last rally of the day will be held at Chandmari Ground in Suri of Birbhum district at 2 pm.

This is PM Modi’s second visit to the state after the election schedule was announced. Earlier on April 5, he had started his campaign from Cooch Behar, where he cornered the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government on the issue of law and order and raised the slogan of ‘fear versus trust’.

Why is Modi’s rally important?

These rallies are being considered very important from political point of view. Haldia is considered to be the stronghold of Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, where BJP wants to maintain its strong hold. At the same time, the party is trying to strengthen its position in the industrial area Asansol.

The rally organized in Suri in Birbhum district also holds special significance, because this area is considered a strong stronghold of TMC. Here BJP is working on a strategy to increase its hold with the help of organizational network and anti-incumbency environment. Voting for the 294-member West Bengal Assembly will be held in two phases on April 23 and 29, while counting of votes will be done on May 4.
