A photoshoot done by a foreign social media influencer by painting an elephant and a female model in pink went viral on social media. Initially this video became the center of attraction, but after some time the matter became serious when the news of the death of the same elephant came to light.

According to the information, this photoshoot was done in Hathi village near Jaipur. According to the information, Russian influencer Julia Buruleva had done this shoot on the theme of ‘Pink City’. In this, 65 year old elephant ‘Chanchal’ and model Yashasvi were painted pink. This video was posted about three months ago, but after the death of the elephant one and a half months ago, this matter came into discussion again.

Animal lovers and animal rights organizations have reacted strongly to this incident. He says that coloring a sensitive animal like an elephant with any kind of color or chemical can be harmful for its skin and health. Many activists have expressed apprehension that this color itself could be the reason for the death of the elephant. He has demanded an impartial investigation into this entire matter.

After the dispute escalated, the Forest Department came into action and an investigation has been ordered. Officials say that if cruelty has been done to the animal without permission or against the rules, then strict action will be taken against the people concerned.

However, Hathi Village Development Committee Chairman Bablu Khan has rejected these allegations. They say that the elephant was dyed only for a short period of time and no harmful chemicals were used in it. He also clarified that the elephant was already old and her death was due to natural causes.

On the other hand, influencer Julia Buruleva has also given clarification on social media. He claimed that organic and local paint was used during the shoot, which is also used in festivals and is safe for animals. He also told that for this project he spent several weeks in Jaipur and took care of all the processes.

Meanwhile, Animal Husbandry Minister Zoraram Kumawat said that tourists are welcome in Rajasthan, but everyone will have to follow the rules. He clarified that if any violation is found, action will be taken as per law. At present this matter has become a topic of discussion from social media to administrative level.
