68 lakh accounts of Ladki Bahin Scheme closed in Maharashtra

A big update has come out regarding the ambitious Girl Sister Scheme of Maharashtra Government. Around 68 lakh accounts have been closed due to not completing the mandatory e-KYC process, leading to a major change in the number of beneficiaries of the scheme. According to officials, out of total 2.43 crore accounts, 68 lakh accounts were deactivated for not completing e-KYC by the prescribed deadline.
