The ‘turn’ of worship in a Hanuman temple in Jodhpur created such a ruckus that people from the same family came face to face. The video of this heated debate and uproar in the temple premises is now going viral on social media. Actually, the responsibility of serving and worshiping the temple is decided among the four brothers of the family on an annual basis. Every year one brother gets the right to worship and then the next year the turn changes.
A dispute arose between six daughters regarding service and worship.
But this time there was a twist in the story and a dispute arose regarding the share of service and worship of a brother who has six daughters. The issue of demanding rights from the daughters’ side came to the fore and within no time the matter heated up. The debate started in the temple itself, which gradually turned into an uproar.
The most interesting thing is that the solution to this entire controversy had already been found. The former chief priest of the temple, late Ranchoddas Nimbavat, had clearly written in his will that only the four brothers would get the opportunity to serve. Despite this, questions have now been raised on the same will.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad protested against the police
As soon as the information was received, SHO Sitaram of Uday Mandir police station reached the spot. Seeing the situation worsening, the police took everyone out of the temple and locked it. But the matter did not stop here, rather Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers and local people reached the police station and protested.
He said that keeping the temple closed on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti is playing with the faith of the devotees. Ultimately the police opened the lock of the temple amidst security arrangements and police force was deployed on the spot. At present the situation is under control under the supervision of police, but this matter has become a big topic of discussion in the city.
