
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirtha in Gandhinagar during the Bharat Virasat Mahotsav program organized on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi were also present on the occasion.
Prime Minister Modi said that this museum presents a unique confluence of centuries-old knowledge, spirituality and cultural heritage. The museum has created a holistic and immersive experience for visitors, researchers and scholars through traditional exhibitions as well as modern digital and audio-visual installations.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi said, I have seen over the years how a continuous tradition of study, spiritual practice and self-discipline is being carried out at Koba Tirtha. Here values are preserved, cultural heritage is strong and knowledge is being nurtured. The confluence of these three concepts (study, practice and discipline) forms the foundation of Indian civilization. It is the duty of all of us to keep this sacred confluence safe and flowing.

The Prime Minister said that Samrat Samprati Museum has emerged as a sacred center of Jain philosophy, Indian culture and ancient heritage. I convey my heartiest wishes to all the Jain saints and sages for this unique endeavor and bow at their feet.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said at the inauguration that more than 2,000 ancient artefacts will be displayed here. Prime Minister Modi has kept Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma intact. Let us move forward towards developed Gujarat and developed India. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi said that today’s inauguration will prove to be a guide in connecting the new generation with their cultural and historical heritage. Prime Minister Modi has taken the legacy of Somnath from Ayodhya to the world level.
