There has been an encounter with the police with the miscreants who killed a delivery boy and injured three others by stabbing him in Dabri area of Delhi. During this, bullets were fired from both sides. In retaliation, both the miscreants were shot in the legs. The miscreants have been identified as Prem Sharma and Rohit.
The injured criminal has been admitted to a nearby hospital. Dwarka District Police Deputy Commissioner Kushal Pal Singh has confirmed the incident. He said that the police were continuously raiding to arrest the accused. Also, on receiving information about the miscreant, a team was deployed at different places in Dwarka area and a cordon and checking campaign was carried out. Seeing the police at both the places, the miscreants tried to run away and opened fire on the police team. After this the police also retaliated in self-defense.
During the encounter, both the miscreants were shot in the leg by the police, after which they got injured and fell down. The police team caught him on the spot and admitted him to a nearby hospital for treatment. During interrogation, it was revealed that one of the arrested criminals had been involved in a criminal case earlier also.
