A new Scorpio car parked outside the house of former minister Jaswant Singh Bawal in Rewari, Haryana was stolen. Late night in a posh area of the city, the thieves first fired two rounds into their car and carried out the incident.
The thieves make two rounds of the former minister’s street in their car without number plates. After this, they reach near the Scorpio car and break its glass and then decode the lock system, start the car and run away from there.
Theft incident captured in CCTV
The former minister got the news of his car being stolen after waking up in the morning. After watching the CCTV installed in the house, it is found that the car has been stolen. After receiving the complaint about the matter, the police have registered an FIR of theft and started investigation.
Former minister Jaswant Singh Bawal’s car was stolen from outside his house in Sector-3 of Rewari City. He had purchased a black colored Scorpio car (HR36AT8598) about 10 months ago. It is registered in his name only. He told that he usually parked the car outside his house.
Former minister had received threat in the year 2024
The former minister told that he had also received a threat in 2024. She also told the entire incident to the administration police but till date no arrest has been made. He also said that there is no trust in the administration. He said that now the car has also been stolen, but now it has to be seen what action the police takes.
His two black and white Scorpio cars were parked outside his house at night. The thieves targeted the new black Scorpio. The incident happened around 2 o’clock in the night. As soon as Jaswant Singh came to know about the theft of the car, he immediately searched the CCTV footage.
Car stolen by breaking glass
In this, a car is first seen going to the left from outside his house. After 10 minutes the same vehicle again comes from the right and goes around. After some time, a thief comes out of the same car and breaks the glass of Jaswant Bawal’s car and takes away the car.
Jaswant Singh Bawal then informed the Model Town police station. As soon as the information was received, Model Town police station reached the spot and started investigation. The police team is scanning the footage of other CCTV cameras installed nearby and is investigating the area. Local people are also being interrogated in search of thieves.
Who is Jaswant Singh Bawal?
Jaswant Singh Bawal contested the elections from Bawal Assembly seat in the year 1996 from Haryana Vikas Party and became a cabinet minister in the government of Chaudhary Bansi Lal. He had big departments like Agriculture, Revenue, PWD, Public Health and Civil Aviation.
After this, Jaswant Singh contested the elections as an independent candidate for the second time in 2005 and lost. Then in 2014 he contested elections from Congress Party and had to face defeat in that too. He contested all three elections from Bawal Assembly. Currently Jaswant Singh Bawal is in Congress Party.
