A big news is coming out amid the ongoing tension on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan. On Sunday, the Afghan government alleged that Pakistani troops shelled the outskirts of a city in eastern Afghanistan, killing one person and wounding 16. Most of the injured include women and children.
According to Afghan government deputy spokesperson Hamdullah Fitrat, this attack by Pakistan was carried out with heavy weapons and mortars. Fitrat also said in his statement that the attack took place around Asadabad city of Kunar province. Many houses were damaged in this.
