Mumbai Indians defeated KKR to win the opening match after 13 years, in which the record partnership and brilliant innings of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton played an important role. In this match, Rohit broke many records by completing his 50th half-century, while Ajinkya Rahane broke Gautam Gambhir’s old record as the captain of KKR.
