Abbas Ansari, son of former MLA from Mau Sadar in Uttar Pradesh and MLA of Bahubali leader Mukhtar Ansari, has made a very emotional post on his social media handle Instagram on the completion of two years of his death. In which, while calling Mukhtar Ansari a ‘martyr’, he cited Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayat 154) of the Quran and said that martyrs never die, do not call them dead.
Remembering his father, Abbas wrote – “Whenever there is talk of justice, you are remembered, Abba. Wherever there is pain for the poor and the oppressed, you are remembered, Abba. Abba, you are not just our father but a courage, a voice, and a shield, under whose shadow so many people kept themselves safe.”
Missing the family
Feeling his absence, MLA Abbas Ansari wrote, “Your absence is felt every day. While moving around, in happiness, in troubles, suddenly a pang suddenly emerges from the heart that ‘I wish Abba was here today.’ But we are proud, proud of the fact that we are the sons of a personality who lived his life for others and ultimately got martyred on the same path.”
Promise to keep the legacy alive
Recalling his father’s service towards the poor and the oppressed, Abbas Ansari wrote, “Abba, your teachings, your principles, your courage, all these are alive within us. We promise that we will never let that legacy down and will always stand with truth and justice.” This post of Abbas Ansari is quite viral, his supporters and fans are commenting and sharing it. Let us tell you here that on March 28, 2024, former MLA Mukhtar Ansari died of a heart attack in Banda jail. The family had raised questions about this but nothing suspicious was found in the post mortem report.
