The police has finally exposed the viral video of a transaction worth Rs 1500 crore which created a stir in the politics of Chhattisgarh. Police investigation has revealed that this video was completely ‘deepfake’ (AI) and it was made as part of a conspiracy to defame the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
The mastermind of this matter has turned out to be the state spokesperson of NSUI. The police have arrested 5 accused in this high-profile case and have also filed a charge sheet against them in the court.
What is the whole matter of the viral video worth Rs 1500 crore?
Actually, a video was becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which a collection of Rs 1500 crore was claimed on senior BJP leaders. On December 19, 2025, BJP MLA Purandar Mishra had lodged an FIR regarding this in the Civil Lines police station of Raipur. It was said in the complaint that this fake video has been created with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Through this video, an attempt was made to malign the image of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary, Regional Organization General Secretary Ajay Jamwal, Organization General Secretary Pawan Sai and Treasurer Ram Garg. It was claimed in the video that this collection of Rs 1500 crore is being done for senior party leader Nitin Naveen.
NSUI spokesperson turns out to be the mastermind
On the basis of intensive investigation by the police and important evidence found from mobile and pen drive, this entire conspiracy has been exposed. According to the police, the main mastermind of this conspiracy is NSUI state spokesperson Aslam Mirza. Aslam, along with his friends Ankit Dubey and Javed, roped in Akash Joshi, who looked after social media in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
Akash Joshi runs a media firm named ‘Strategy’. According to the information, payment of about Rs 1 crore was outstanding from Akash’s firm. Due to this anger, Akash made a plan to prepare ‘anti-BJP’ posts and content.
Aslam and Yash Daga helped him in making this fake content viral. The police have arrested these five accused.
Former CM Bhupesh Baghel raised serious questions on police investigation
After the revelation of this matter, politics has become more heated. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has raised serious questions on this theory of the police by posting on social media (X).
Bhupesh Baghel wrote that if Akash Joshi of BJP IT Cell owed Rs 1 crore and he prepared a post against his own government and made it viral, then how did the mastermind of this entire conspiracy become the spokesperson of NSUI?
He further sarcastically asked why it has not been made clear till now that on whose orders the recovery of Rs 1500 crore was being done, who was doing it and where did all this money go?
