The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel intensified on Friday. Iran’s state media reported on Friday that the country’s nuclear sites were attacked. According to reports, a large water plant and a yellowcake production plant were targeted.

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization said a large water plant in Shahid Khondab, Arak, and the Ardakan Yellowcake plant in Yazd province were attacked. However, there were no casualties and there is no danger of radiation.

Israel threatened to intensify military action

This development has come to light at a time when Israel had warned to intensify and broaden its campaign against Tehran. Israel’s military said it struck ballistic missile and weapons manufacturing facilities inside Tehran. Along with this, missile launchers and storage sites in western Iran were also targeted.

Iran war reaches Gulf countries

The scope of Iran conflict has spread to the Gulf countries. Saudi Arabia said it shot down a missile and drone heading towards the capital Riyadh. Kuwait’s ports were also damaged in the attacks. Meanwhile, attacks also took place in Lebanon’s capital Beirut, in which two people died.

Trump is trying to end the Iran war

US President Donald Trump has claimed that talks to end the war are going well. However, Iran has denied any talks. The US has made a 15-point proposal for a ceasefire, which includes the condition of opening Hormuz to all ships. Along with this, America has also deployed thousands of additional soldiers in the area.

Global crisis deepens due to closure of Hormuz

Tension over the Strait of Hormuz remains a cause of global concern, as about one-fifth of the world’s oil passes through this route. Due to Iran’s control over this route, the fear of global energy crisis has increased. Oil prices have risen to $107 per barrel, while global stock markets have declined.
