
A major accident took place in Khupi area of Nainital in Uttarakhand on Friday morning, where a bus full of passengers going from Haldwani to Pithoragarh overturned, in this accident one person died while many passengers are reported to be injured. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to Tiwari Hospital. CM Dhami also expressed grief over the accident and directed to provide immediate treatment to the injured.
According to the news, this accident happened on Bhavani Road in Khupi on Friday morning at around 7.30 am. This bus was coming from Haldwani. The driver told that the bus went out of control, after which he had to turn the bus to save it, in the process the bus overturned. There were many passengers in this bus, there was an outcry on the spot after the accident.
Bus full of passengers went out of control and overturned
After the accident, nearby people gathered at the spot, after which the local police was immediately informed. On receiving information about the incident, police and SDRF team reached the spot and rescue operation was started. In this accident one person died on the spot. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Giving information about this, SDRF Sub-Inspector Manish Bhakuni said, “We received information about a bus overturning in Khupi at around 7.30 pm. We immediately reached the spot. The injured had already been sent to the hospital by the Civil Police and one person has died. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
CM Dhami expressed grief over the accident
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also taken cognizance of this incident. CM posted on X and wrote – ‘Received very sad news of the accident of the bus going from Haldwani to Pithoragarh.
Relief and rescue work is going on by the local administration, the injured are being immediately admitted to nearby hospitals for treatment. Instructions have also been given to airlift the seriously injured if necessary. I pray to Mother Naina Devi for the safety of all the passengers.
