Himachal: Opposition not satisfied with CM Sukhu’s answer after budget discussion in the House, walked out

As soon as Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu started replying after three days of discussion in the budget session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly, the atmosphere in the House became heated. Dissatisfied with the reply of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the opposition walked out of the House. The opposition expressed strong protest against the scam allegations leveled against the former government and accused the government of lying.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the Chief Minister’s allegations are completely baseless and are being made to divert public attention. If such a big scam has taken place then the government should conduct an investigation and take action against the culprits. He said that instructions are being given to officials to register cases against BJP leaders and investigate the schemes of the previous government.

‘Government is trying to hide its failures’- BJP

BJP leaders claim that the government is trying to hide its failures. He said that sometimes there is talk of a scam of Rs 100 crore and sometimes Rs 1100 crore, which clearly shows that the government itself is not clear about its allegations.

CM Sukhu’s attack on BJP

On the other hand, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the opposition needs some excuse for the walkout. The former BJP government looted the state’s wealth with both hands during its tenure. Scams worth Rs 1000 crore committed in the name of Him Care. The Chief Minister also raised questions on the equipment purchased in the Health Department. He said that the anti-state BJP, divided into five factions, repeatedly conducts walkouts to hide its failures.
