A tragic accident happened late night in Karol Bagh area of the capital Delhi. A bus lost control and overturned near Jhandewalan temple, killing two passengers while 23 others were injured. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital, where their treatment is ongoing.
According to the information, this horrific accident happened near Hanuman Mandir Chowk of Karol Bagh. Late night the fire department received information about the bus overturning. As soon as the information was received, teams of Delhi Police and Fire Department immediately reached the spot. Relief and rescue operations were started.
Two passengers were killed and 23 others were injured when a sleeper bus overturned near Karol Bagh area of Delhi on Wednesday, a fire department official said. A call regarding the accident was received at 1.10 am, following which two fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot and rescue operations were immediately started, the official said. The injured were admitted to different hospitals for treatment. The officer said that the bus had reached Delhi from Jaipur.
