Concern was being raised about the health of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for the last several days. Meanwhile, Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan met him in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. After the meeting, Qasim shared a message from his father on social media. In this message, Imran Khan has made serious allegations against the judiciary and government of Pakistan.
Imran Khan said in a message sent to his son, the judges of the country should be ashamed. He alleged that the judiciary has sold its soul and does not care about the unity of the country. According to Imran, when his opponents could not break him mentally, they started targeting his wife Bushra Bibi. He described the treatment being meted out to Bushra Bibi as inhuman and against Islam. Imran said that all this is a conspiracy to blackmail him.
Referring to the difficulties of jail, Imran Khan said that instead of meeting his sons for 30 minutes, he has to stay alone (isolation) for 24 hours. Describing the judges as traitors, he said that those who were responsible for the justice of the society are the ones who are betraying them. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Let us tell you that both sons of Imran Khan, Suleman and Qasim live in London. He had earlier claimed that the vision in his father’s right eye had greatly reduced and the jail administration was being negligent in his treatment. In an interview given to Reuters, Qasim had also said that the government was not giving him a visa to visit Pakistan because it was afraid that it would draw the world’s attention towards Imran Khan. However, he later got the visa.
A few days ago, Imran Khan’s lawyer Latif Khosa has applied in the court that Khan should be sent to the hospital for treatment. It is being said that Imran is suffering from eye disease since October last year. On the other hand, the government claims that his eyesight has improved after the treatment. 72-year-old Imran Khan is in jail since August 2023 in a corruption case.
