A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh. 55 year old accused Rafiq Ansari tried to commit a heinous crime with his own 5 year old granddaughter. The parents caught the accused red handed. The victim’s father himself filed a complaint against his father in the police station. The police immediately arrested the accused and sent him to jail.
The incident occurred on Monday morning when other members of the house were not present. After finding the innocent child alone, the accused started forceful and obscene acts. When the girl raised an alarm, the family members reached the room and caught the accused red-handed while attempting the heinous act. It is said that the accused had already committed obscene acts with the girl and used to threaten her not to tell anyone. This time the whole matter came to light when the granddaughter screamed.
Real son lodged FIR himself, demanding harshest punishment
The victim’s parents themselves went to the police station and filed a complaint against the accused against this act of disregarding the dignity of relationships. In his complaint, the father has demanded the harshest punishment for the accused. Considering the sensitivity of the matter, the police immediately registered a case and arrested the accused.
SP said- charge sheet will be filed soon
Bhadohi Superintendent of Police Abhinav Tyagi said that a serious case has been registered against the accused under Section 65(2) of the Indian Justice Code and Section 5m/6 of the POCSO Act. SP clarified that the accused has been arrested and sent to jail and on the basis of evidence, efforts are being made to file a charge sheet as soon as possible and give him strict punishment.
