Today, on Friday, the second day of Navratri, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Senior) first administered the oath to Rajpur MLA Khajan Das at Lok Bhavan. After this Bharat Singh Chaudhary took oath in Sanskrit. Then MLAs Madan Kaushik, Pradeep Batra and Ram Singh Keda also took oath as ministers.
At present the posts of five ministers are vacant in the cabinet, in which new ministers were crowned. The new faces for coronation have been selected after looking at the work records of the MLAs in the last four years. A balance was created between regional and caste equations in the new cabinet. Several rounds of talks were held with the national leadership on cabinet expansion.
