
Police took action and arrested all the 14 accused in the case of some Muslim youth having an Iftar party while sitting in a boat in the holy river Ganga in Varanasi and throwing bones in the river Ganga after eating biryani. Now Uttar Pradesh Government’s Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh has given a sharp reaction in this matter. Apart from this, he talked to the media on other issues including gas.
In fact, State Government’s Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh had reached Bati Wale Baba’s ashram located at Rajghat in Ayodhya. While talking to the media, Minister Dayashankar Singh said that Ganga is not just a river but is the center of faith of crores of people. He bluntly said that “Where people consider a drop of water as sacred, organizing such events is like polluting the Ganga and reflects a polluted mentality.” The minister made it clear that the government will not shy away from taking strict action in such cases.
Additional buses will be operated for devotees- Minister
Meanwhile, the minister also gave an update on the preparations for Ram Navami. He told that every year lakhs of devotees reach Ayodhya, and this time also in view of the crowd, the transport department will operate additional buses. Under the Chief Minister Gram Bus Scheme, preparations are being made to connect rural areas also so that no devotee is deprived of the journey.
There is no shortage of gas in the state – Minister
Apart from this, Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh in Yogi government has also reacted on the shortage of gas. On the apprehensions spreading over gas shortage, the minister made it clear that people are getting nervous due to the news of America-Iran tension, due to which the crowd at the agencies has increased. But he assured that there is no shortage of gas in the state and the supply is completely normal.
