A man who had come from Faridabad to meet his sister in Panipat died after being hit by a train. The accident occurred on the railway line behind the Mini Secretariat when the person was trying to cross the track amid rain. GRP reached the spot after the accident. After taking all necessary action on the spot, the body was sent to the civil hospital. Also, after the postmortem, the body was handed over to the relatives of the deceased who arrived after the information.

According to the information, the deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Sandeep Sharma, who was originally a resident of Faridabad. Police investigation revealed that when this accident happened yesterday evening, it was raining heavily. Sandeep was walking on foot while chasing an auto and during this time he suddenly climbed onto the down link railway track. At the same time, he died on the spot after being hit by a high-speed train passing by.

The police recovered a mobile phone and some important documents from the pocket of the deceased, on the basis of which he was identified as Sandeep Sharma. The police immediately contacted the family members of the deceased and informed them about this tragic incident.
The police took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary of Panipat General Hospital. Today, based on the statements of the family members, the police completed the necessary action and conducted the post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members for the last rites. There is mourning in the family due to the sudden death of the brother who had happily come to his sister’s house.
