A heart-wrenching incident came to light on Thursday in Mahagunapuram Society of Kavinagar in Ghaziabad, UP. Astrologer Rajveer Chawla (42), who lived on the ground floor, committed suicide by jumping from the 13th floor, while the body of his mother Satnam Kaur (65) was found inside the flat. The dead body is said to be two to three days old and blood stains have been found on the nose. The incident has spread sensation in the area.

Rajveer lived on the ground floor with his mother.
ACP Kavinagar Suryabali Maurya told that Rajveer lived with his mother on the ground floor in Vinayak Tower of the society. At around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, information was received that he had committed suicide. When the police reached the spot and investigated, the dead body of the woman was found inside the flat. No injury marks were found on the body, but there were signs of bleeding from the nose. The forensic team has collected samples from the spot. The bodies of both have been sent for medical examination.

Steps taken after murder or due to depression, investigation continues
According to ACP, preliminary police investigation has revealed that Rajveer was having a dispute with his wife Kiran Bala. His wife is living separately with their six-year-old son in Gaur City, Crossing Republic. According to neighbours, Rajveer had recently started a broadcast due to lack of income from his astrologer’s work, which has now been stopped. In such a situation, he was struggling with financial crisis and depression.

Gave up his life after killing his mother
For some time now, he had also reduced his conversation with people. There is talk that Rajveer committed suicide after killing his mother. However, the police have not confirmed this. The police is investigating keeping all the points in mind. ACP said that the cause of the woman’s death will be clear only from the post-mortem report. People told that Satnam Kaur had come to stay with her son only a few days ago.

Went up the stairs to the 13th floor, then jumped
According to the police, investigation so far has revealed that Rajveer went up to the 13th floor via the stairs and then jumped from there. It fell on the tin shed below, making a loud noise. Hearing the sound, the guard and nearby people reached the spot. Police took him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
