Delhi News: Illegal infiltration exposed in Delhi, police arrested two Bangladeshi citizens

Foreigner Cell North-West District of Delhi Police has arrested two Bangladeshi nationals in the case of illegal infiltration and human trafficking in Delhi. This action was taken on 16 March 2026 near GTB Nagar metro station in Mukherjee Nagar police station area. According to the police, they had received a tip-off that a Bangladeshi national was involved in human trafficking related activities in the area.

Based on the information, a team of Foreigner Cell was formed and surveillance was started near GTB Nagar metro station. Meanwhile, at the behest of the informer, the suspect was stopped and interrogated, who was identified as Robiul Mulla.

Important revelation made in Delhi Police investigation

Investigation by Delhi Police revealed that Robiul Mulla had been deported from India in the year 2025, but he again entered India illegally and started his old illegal activities. During interrogation, he gave information about his female companion, after which the police also caught his associate, a 38-year-old woman from the same area. Investigation also revealed that the accused was planning to bring some women to India illegally and get them to do illegal activities. At present the police is investigating to find other people associated with this gang and those who were brought illegally.

Police found phone with banned IMO app installed

Delhi Police has recovered two smartphones from the arrested accused, in which the banned IMO app was installed. Apart from this, photographs of Bangladeshi passport and national identity card were also found in the gallery of his mobile phone. Police have started legal action against both the accused. He has been produced before the FRRO and as per the prescribed procedure, action is being taken to send him back to Bangladesh. The police is carrying out further investigation to trace this entire network.
