Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday spoke on phone with United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and discussed the current situation in West Asia. The Prime Minister once again condemned the attacks on UAE. These attacks resulted in loss of civilian lives and damage to civilian infrastructure.

The two leaders agreed on the importance of ensuring safe and free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and looked forward to continuing to work together to restore peace, security and stability in the region.

What did PM Modi say in the conversation?

Prime Minister Modi said in a post on social media platform He reiterated his strong condemnation of the attacks on the UAE and expressed concern over the deaths of innocent people and damage to civilian infrastructure.


The two leaders agreed to continue working together to ensure safe and free movement in the Strait of Hormuz and to restore peace, security and stability in the region.
