Uddhav Thackeray met Speaker Rahul Narvekar, raised demand for appointment of leader of opposition

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray met Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar on Monday in Mumbai, Maharashtra. During this, he has demanded the appointment of the leader of the opposition. Thackeray said that even after the coming of the new government, like every year, this time also the leader of the opposition has not been appointed in both the houses. Therefore, they have been requested to meet and make appointments. Uddhav Thackeray has also cornered the BJP government on the shortage of domestic gas in the country. He also expressed his opinion on religious conversion and Dhangar movement.

On the current gas shortage, Uddhav Thackeray said, “If there is a supply of gas, then why are long queues visible? 30-40 percent of the hotels in Mumbai are closed. This should reach the Chief Minister. The government is not understanding the problems and suffering of the people, which is a serious thing. There is a difference between shortage and inflation. If there is no shortage, then why are the prices rising? Now the public should wake up after seeing the situation with open eyes and demand answers from the government.” He has demanded clear steps from the government.

Said this on conversion

Expressing his opinion on the issue of religious conversion, Thackeray said that everyone should have freedom of religion. We oppose those who force conversion through greed or inducement. If some people are converting through ED or through money, then there is opposition to that also. Such incidents have increased in the last few years. If we get information about which society or area conversion is taking place, our workers will go there and work.

Gave support to Dhangar movement

On the ongoing Dhangar movement in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had given assurance to the Dhangar community in Pandharpur in 2004, and he was the Prime Minister of the same party. Now the present Prime Minister should fulfill that promise. The Central Government and the Chief Minister of the state should immediately intervene in this matter. No matter whose government it is, there should be no injustice to the Marathi people.
