The police has achieved great success in the campaign being conducted against criminals in Greater Noida. The joint team of Police Station Ecotech I and Crime Branch has arrested two active members of the notorious mafia Sundar Bhati gang after an encounter. In retaliatory firing, the police laid siege and caught both the accused.
According to the information received in this regard, Dharmendra alias DK and Arjun, who were in the custody of the police, have been arrested by the joint team of Police Station Ecotech I and Crime Branch after an encounter near Yamuna Pusta, Village Gharbara. It was told that the police team had received information about suspected miscreants near Yamuna Pusta, village Gharbara.
Miscreants fired on the police team
Taking immediate action on this information, the police and crime branch team reached the spot. When the police and crime branch tried to stop them, the miscreants started firing on the police party with the intention of killing them. After police retaliatory action, police have arrested two accused.
Both the accused belong to Sundar Bhati gang.
According to DCP Greater Noida Dr. Praveen Ranjan Singh, both the arrested accused are associated with the mafia Sunder Bhati gang identified by the government. main accused Dharmendra alias DK has a past criminal history and has been involved in several encounters and Arms Act cases in the past.
Weapons recovered from the accused
DCP Grater Noida Dr. Praveen Ranjan Singh further said that one .32 bore illegal pistol, one .315 bore pistol and a large quantity of live and spent cartridges have been recovered from their possession. At present, the police is interrogating both of them so that information can be gathered about the future plans of the gang and other associates.
