Jadeja said that his main aim will be to work in the interest of the team and he will try to improve the team both on and off the field. Jadeja said, I will keep giving my opinion and suggestions to the team, whatever will be better for the team, I am always ready to do that. As a senior player you have to take additional responsibility for the team. Whatever contribution you make to the team is most important.
Not young, will play with ultra young players
The current team of Rajasthan Royals includes many very young players. Among these, names like young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and rising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi are prominent. Jadeja jokingly said that he is going to play not just with young players but with “ultra young” players. According to him, this experience will be very exciting for him too because he will get a chance to play with the new generation players and understand them closely. He said, I will not say that I am playing only with young players, but I will play with ultra young players. As a senior player, it is going to be very exciting because I will get a chance to know many new and young players. Salary reduced from Rs 18 crore to Rs 14 crore
