Weather: Possibility of lightning and rain from Kullu to Kerala; Weather will change in many states due to western disturbance – Weather Alert Across India: Rain And Lightning Expected From Kullu To Kerala

The weather of the country, especially North India, is going to change again from Sunday. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), a period of rain, thunder and strong winds may start in the hilly states, while in some states of North-West and Eastern India, light rain and thunderstorm conditions may also occur due to the effect of western disturbance.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of sporadic hailstorm in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh on March 15, in Himachal Pradesh on March 15 and 18, in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Eastern Uttar Pradesh on March 15 and 16, and in Western Uttar Pradesh on March 16. The Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ for Sunday in Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts regarding thunder, lightning and strong winds.

Apart from this, ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi and Shimla districts for Monday and Wednesday regarding winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and rain with thunder. The weather remained dry in Himachal Pradesh during the last 24 hours. During this period, Tabo was the coldest place in the state, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 0.2 degrees Celsius. The day’s maximum temperature in Una was 33.6 degrees Celsius, which was the highest in the state. The Meteorological Department also said that a new western disturbance may become active in northwest India from the night of March 17, which may again increase rain and cloud activity in the hilly areas.

Winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in Rajasthan

In Rajasthan too, changes in weather may be seen due to the influence of western disturbance. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle with strong winds in many areas of the state from Saturday. Winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour and thundershowers may occur in some parts of Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh and Churu districts. On Sunday, there may be dust storm and light rain or drizzle in some areas of Ajmer, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.

There will be light rain in Jharkhand for four days

Light to moderate rain is also expected in many districts of Jharkhand in eastern India for the next four days. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain in almost all the districts of the state except Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Latehar on Sunday. The department said that the maximum temperature may increase for the next two days.
