
Vigorous preparations are going on in the NDA camp for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Bihar. JDU state president Umesh Kushwaha claimed that NDA’s victory on all five seats is certain. He said, “Our victory is certain. We have held a meeting with the MLAs, in which all the state presidents attended. The strategy was discussed but cannot be told in detail right now. Everyone will be informed tomorrow.”
He said that the opposition is unnerved by the unity of the NDA. “Whatever the opposition does, the NDA will win the elections. 100 percent victory is ours.” At the same time, JDU MLA Manjeet Singh also clarified that NDA will win all five seats, there is no dilemma in this. We have enough majority and votes.
Minister shared voting strategy in the meeting
Bihar government minister Shravan Kumar said that voting strategy was discussed in the meeting. Everyone has to ensure voting from 9 am to 4 pm on Tuesday. A banquet is being organized at the house of NDA candidate Upendra Kushwaha, where all the MLAs will go. At the same time, JDU MLA Komal Singh said that there is a meeting of NDA MLAs today and a separate meeting is also being held at Upendra Kushwaha’s house, where the issues will be discussed.
Maithili Thakur stressed on MLAs voting for the first time
BJP MLA Maithili Thakur laid emphasis on the MLAs who voted for the first time. He said that there are many new MLAs in the Rajya Sabha elections, to whom the process is being explained. “This is a follow-up routine. This happened two days ago with Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also. We have to vote carefully so that no mistake is made.”
Minister Santosh Kumar Suman mentioned the meeting on the call of Upendra Kushwaha. He said, “We are all gathering and talks will take place. Whatever the opposition says, we know that NDA will win all five seats.” At the same time, JDU MLA Hari Narayan Singh and BJP MLA Ratnesh Kushwaha also expressed confidence of the victory of NDA candidates.
These candidates are in the fray from NDA
Five Rajya Sabha seats are falling vacant in Bihar, where NDA candidates include Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Nitin Naveen, Ramnath Thakur, Shivesh Kumar and Upendra Kushwaha (RLM). NDA has a strong majority in the assembly but the focus is on the strategy of garnering additional support for the fifth seat. Grand alliance of opposition parties is also in the fray but NDA leaders are claiming complete victory on the basis of unity and mathematics.
