what is the whole matter
An attempt was made to kill National Conference President and former CM Dr. Farooq Abdullah by firing a pistol at his temple last Wednesday night at around 10.30 pm. If there had been a delay of even a few seconds by the NSG commandos, anything could have happened. The attack took place when he was returning with Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chaudhary after attending a wedding ceremony at Royal Park in Greater Kailash, Jammu. The attacker Kamal Singh Jamwal, resident of Purani Mandi, was caught on the spot.
